Investors in People (IIP)
The Investors in People award is the national award given to organisations that can demonstrate effective investment in the training and development of their staff to achieve business goals.
Following a review in October 2002, we are delighted to announce that the Planning Inspectorate has again met the requirements of the National Standard of Investors in People (IIP).
The Planning Inspectorate was one of the first Agencies to be awarded IIP status, and this is the third successive time we have been re-accredited. We are particularly pleased this time, as the revised Standard focuses more on actual outcomes in determining whether organisations effectively develop their people.
We will continue to develop plans to ensure that we retain the standard, and build on our strengths.
